I have left my home to go live with the family for Christmas. I forgot to bring the charger for the Futaba 14SG battery. A friend has a "computer charger" called Thor. It has a plug that fit the futaba battery so I guess I can charge it.

I dont have any experience charging NiMH batteries with a charger like this. Here is the charger. : http://rcbutikken.no/produkter/b ... rger-bluetooth.aspx

Hi, if you switch to Lithium battery for the 14SG ( original football battery), and use a third party charger, make sure not to charge over 200 or 300 mAH current, or the protection circuit of the battery will stop the charging ( you will have a " connection break" message on the charger).

Thanks. Yes I sent a support mail to Futaba and this was the battery that came with it. They gave me this advice it just took a few days before I heard from them but got the mail right after I posted this. I linked the battery just to show what it was in case someone knew about the battery but not the Futaba.
