X3 OSMO is very convinent, but X5 len's F1.7 and high ISO are better than X3 spec for street photograph and also helpful for video authoring. When will X5 OSMO be released?

In theory, Osmo will work with X5. They just have to make available an adapter needed. They told me the adapter will be available soon.

So, your suggestion is keep waiting until X5 OSMO lanuch? or buy X3 OSMO first, then will have trade-in program to upgrade to X5 OSMO?

it depends on how high are your requirements to the camera. also, if you have an inspire 1, you can get  the hand held only

I'm not waiting, holiday season is just around the corner & I'll get the X3 now so I can start practising! :-)

So my X5 is arriving tomorrow, Yay!! . Around when will the X5 Osmo adapter be available? Have a few shoots coming up and would love to use my Osmo X5 with it.

I keep hearing the X5 Osmo adaptor will be available soon. How soon can it be, if no one can give me a date??? I do not own an X3, nor an Inspire, so my kit is basically useless until I get one, neither is the Osmo 'fully compatible' with the X5 until one exists.
It is bad business practice to suggest it is.

I just received the X5 camera , lens, and gimbal, and I have the Osmo Handle kit.  I can see why there is the necessity for an adaptor, as the X5 gimbal mounts backwards on the Osmo.. and needs a stepping adaptor to reorient it and allow the pins to make contact on the Osmo.  It's unfortunate that the Osmo was not designed to accept all the DJI camera  mounts.

Is there a way to be immediately notified when an adaptor is available to attach the X5 to the Osmo handle?
Will I need a DIFFERENT Osmo product?

What is the status of this adapter? How long can it possibly take to design and machine an adapter? A single employee could do this in a day, and yet?..... Here we are waiting. DJI please step up and at least give us an ETA. If it's too hard for you guys to do there are plenty of guys here that would love to make the adapter plate and sell them to your customers for you.

Ok DJI, any time you can give us an answer would be amazing! We are now in 2016, all of us "LOYAL" DJI supporters have waited patiently long enough! WHAT IS THE DEALIO? People are now voiding their warranties by forcing and shaving and removing screws so the X5 will fit and some are working just fine! I will not resort to that but would love an answer???? Please?

So Tim,  this was October 2015.  We're now in March 2016.  Where is this adaptor?  I've wasted a lot of money here.  Handle kit and X5!!  Completely useless!!
