Drone Club

Hello everybody,

I am in the process of creating a drone club at my university. We will fly drones, compare techniques and results, and educate ourselves together. Does anybody have any ideas for a name for the club, as well as projects or different things we could work on? I didn't want to call it "Drone Club" or "Drones" or "Drone Enthusiasts." Those all sounds lame. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

My first suggestion would be to totally eliminate the use of the word "drone".

I like Flight Club a lot, that's fantastic. Also, my goal was to avoid using the word "drone," I agree that that would be a bad choice because of the negative connotation it has.

Nope, it didn't end up panning out. The only con I can think of would be the time you put into it, which might not even be a con!
