I just got the new Remote, and I need Help. Do anyone know how to link the new remote to the Phantom 2 Vision Plus Version 2?

I see in the software, but I do not think it is link.

Thanks for any help. I was hoping to see a YouTube Video , but so far nothing.

Turn the Phantom on and have the remote turned off.  on the bottom of the Phantom as you have the battery facing you, there will be a red flashing light on the left side.  Push the light in, (it's also a switch).  It will turn yellow.  Now turn on the transmitter.  The light will go red again, it might take 30 seconds to turn,  Then it is bonded to each other.  Then do all the calibrations and and updates it might require.  Select upgrade ver and not basic ver to calibrate the gimbal.

Well I think I got it, but the camera control is not working. everything else looks ok. When should the gimbal move.

Make sure it's set for Upgrade in the Vision Assistant software.  Then go through an X1 calibration.

Thank you all. After re-doing it a few times I got it right, and I got the Gimbal to work as well. Now for the test flight when the weather clears up.

Make sure you do the compass calibration where you will be taking off before you fly.

Yes, you know that.. I am just waiting for the rain to stop.

Just wanted to say, that the new remote is up and running with no issues. Did a complete test, and like the way the camera moves with the dial.  

Thank you all for your help. It's nice to know you have people you can count on and not make you feel bad.. To the owners of a DJI Phantom, where would we be without you.

Hey gil, I see your screen shot of the phantom2 and was wandering my does not ever show the updated version of the transmitter only the old version. I have the PV2+ V3 and a Mac computer and I have the box checked for the updated transmitter, any idea why mind doesn't show the new transmitter?

Move your mouse.  The left side window will change when you hold the mouse pointer over different parts of the right window.

All I get when I mouse over the transmitter version is the model number and a square box with blue and a ? mark in it, no image of the transmitter, maybe a flash player issue??

I'm a windows man so I can't speak to the Mac.

As long as you're set for the upgrade version and everything is working correctly, well... don't scratch something that shouldn't itch.

Everything works fine, its just one of those things that bug me, maybe a Mac guy will respond, anyway thanks for the reply gil.

Is the software updated?  There is a new version that includes the new "upgrade version" of the available remotes for the Phantom Vision 2+

Hey, has anyone updated the new controller to 1.0.2.31 and free of issues. A couple of weeks ago people said that it was a downgraded version and caused problems. I updated V2+ 3.0 phantom to latest, but not controller and seemed to be fine on first flight
