When to only about a foot unstable in GPS mode take off in Atty mode

I’m interested in hearing from other people as well.  Arrow, have you been able to test the battery life of the controller yet and does the video feed on the tablet approximate the drone’s remaining battery capacity?  Also, taking off in atti mode is a good idea regardless because you don’t want to discover GPS problems 5 feet off the ground.

This is topic I'm most interested in...feasibility of the DJI controller given all of the functions that need to be managed in flight (A2/Wookong).  Particularly the trade off from switches and dials to icons on a phone/tablet.  Additionally how are others panning the gimbal given it appears almost impossible to use the right side momentary dial.

I would like the option to use the media dial on the remote for panning the gimbal, but you can simply pan by moving the drone with yaw.

Panning with the drone itself is like painting with a broom...you can do it but it doesn't look pretty;)
