The current battery firmware is only 1.3.2.......the 1.4 firmware update only updates the P3 from 1.3.2 to 1.4......if the battery is updated to 1.3.2 it does nothing.  
If the battery is pre  1.3.2 firmware the 1.4 firmware updates the battery to 1.3.2.
I'm already confused just reading what I just wrote!
Bottom line..........You should have no worries.
