Fedex should be delivering my Phantom sometime today and I was wondering if I could remove the camera/gimbal while I'm still in the learning phase of flying my drone.  If so, is it just a simple as unbolting the gimbal from the drone and unhooking the wire?  I did order the gimbal saver from killer rc but it won't be delivered until sometime next week.  Thanks in advance and I tried to use the search feature on this site but it doesn't seem to work well :/

Keep in mind that when you remove the camera you will also lose any feedback to your cell phone or tablet.  Most importantly are things like battery and satellite lock count.
