Is anyone else experiencing this when shooting 4K (4096x1260)...hit record, video image freezes, hit stop, get blue screen and it resets all settings you have saved. I tried rebooting the OSMO, the iPhone and tried th fastest card available (just grasping for straws).

Hi, plz use other resolution and fps, say 4k p30, for normal use.

This problem will be fixed once firmware is upgraded.

having similar problems it keeps freezing and then when end the recording it goes blue, goes to photo mode and back to video mode. When I Import it on the computer it becomes up with error, says it isn  unreadable file and when i play it freezes and then goes black. This happened only my second day of buying it. has anyone got a solution?

Hi same problem it means dji suks they sell incomplete product you can record in 3840x2160 and all it's fine but when you switch to 4096x2160 you get blue screen and camera freeze dji should sort out issue first not selling something which is incomplete

Also camera getting super hot in room temperature,and I just wondering if I'm going to Dubai it's probably overhead it's correct Mr dji?

I have this issue too. Using Pal setting.
Is the answer to use NTSC at 30fps?

I fixed it. You go in setting then Camera and at the very  bottom press 'reset camera' and the it shot 4K video fine

Had you changed the shooting format to PAL previously?
Perhaps by resetting the camera it defaulted back to NTSC.

As long as the fan is working and there is no "camera error" warning from the app, you can use it normally.

Yep, same problem when I test 4096x2160 25fps. Catch Blue screen, and become 4096x2160 24fps, but still it doesn't able to record.

3860x2160 is the highest resolution we can get for now.

Yes, we have the recording problem of 4096*2160 right now, the engineers are working on this right now, we will try to release the solution firmware at the end of the month if everything works well.

What is the current version of your firmware? You can try the reset button : Hold the recording button+Trigger and pull down the power button for a while until the right led becomes red and green flashes. And then you can upgrade again.

i already follow your instructions , now while the upgrade process , hopefully this can resolve my problem

Yes, the upgrade is successful now, left led is solid green means the upgrade is successful. You can check the user manual about the meaning of led patterns. http://www.dji.com/product/osmo/download
What is your OSMO problem exactly? Can you give me more details?

Dear Amy and support team

after the firmware issue, now a new problem come to my osmo after 3 days buying.
while recording/photo/timelapse all the buttons can not be enabled or not work,which can be functioned only the joystick, trigger and on/off button.
in my iphone same as wel, all indicators are sometimes so N/A N/A N/A and only true indicator of battery indicator, several times before the camera led indicator still recording and the gimbal its to hot if touched.i try both 2.4 and 5.8GHz WiFi and has been reset the camera and WiFi. my firmware v1 0 1 19+ now.
maybe i get a bad unit, the quality is not good or my osmo did not pass of the great quality control???
I love everything of Dji Product, I’m phantom 2/3 users, but in my osmo i really really disappointed. I wasted time and loss of work useless just to think about this. more details please see the video below.
and why my account can't login anymore in my iphone or ipad(use for phantom with ios last firmware)???
hopefully there is a way out for all of this.

I have upgraded the firmware to 1.0.1.19+, but the problem persists.  This is happening for 4K resolution, both PAL and NTSC, in all modes of 24, 25, 30fps.  It is consistent and reproducible.  It should have been tested before release the product.

You mean you have all the N/A for the camera OSD? Please try to restart and reset the camera settings on the app. If the problem still persist, you need to contact our technical support and send it for repair or exchange.

Got The same pb but in all The resolution (4K,2K, HD...) always after a few seconds Of recording : blue screen. I notice that i loose always The wifi signal' i took' my phone in The Hand and il works better (!!!). Gonna tre a fauter Card but i.m really Disapointed...

Hi,
1) Please update your Osmo firmware to the latest version v.1.2.1.60 first.
2) The existing bug is the 4K 4096*2160. So any blue screen for other resolution is abnormal.
3) About the wifi signal , what mobile device are you using? Have you tried to change the wifi band? Please try to reset your wifi and try both 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz.
wifi reset method: Hold down the Trigger and Shutter button at the same time. Then, pull the power switch down until the System Status Indicator blinks green. Release the power button before releasing the Trigger.

Please  send a demo video to indicate your problem if it's still persist. One more tip, what SD card did you use? Cause sometimes the SD card incompatibility can make the handle can't recognize the gimbal and get a black screen on the mobile device. Please try to take out the SD card, reinsert it or change different micro SD cards.

i put today a new sd card 'extreme scan disk 64go' (though the standard card was down...), i reset the wifi upgrade the firmware 1.0.1.19+ and always the same pb the osmo stops after a few second of recording, the max time of my recording test was 1 mn 45s...
possible to make a hard reset ?

I FIND A WAY OUT !!!
After a full reset (firmware, wifi, new sd Card) i FIND The solution !
I reset The caméra and tried to record with The original setting ´ntsc' and surprise No Pbs, no freeze, Smooth recording. I change to PAL and put settings  to 24 frame rate (and not 25) and everything working FINE !!!  Hope it's The end Of my problems
