I am runing Firmware 1.4.00.10 and agree with other posts that it didn't fly as well as earlier versions, have now altered gain and exop and it is now back to being really nice to fly see photo, I also like to fly with my brake set to 70 it just stops a little bit smoother.

What are other people's experiences regarding settings and firmware.

Have flown my Inspire Pro this morning for the first time and it behaves just as well on the standard settings I now it has a higher AUW.

Love the new camera and prop mounts.

Its tricky - the reason why your Inspire Pro does "not fly as well as earlier versions" is that it uses fw 1.05 stuff in ESC and not 01.04.00.10 as advertised.

In fact the ECS fw 01.11.00.00 which was installed to your plane is the problem its absolutely awful does many odd stuff and could I ask you to make a small test? Please put the Backward/Left expo to 0,8 an tell me if you have changes in maximum speed as to 0,3. Would be very nice to know.
Also you lost wind compensation if you fly with sticks even very small wind will effect your flight experience now. Try to fly 200m forward and then back the same line in little wind. I would wonder you still can do this.

But please note that public 1.04.00.10 has a difference ESC fw as your 1.00.30 pro firmware though it wants to make you believe its the same.

Sorry it does fly as well as my Inspire 1 which is about 9 months old.



I would say thay perform exactly the same.

And what max speed you get setting expo to 0,2 and 0,8 ?

With a higher brake value the Inspires pushes its leg into the picture at any slight brake if the camera is turned backwards. Even with 70% it often does. The only difference I see is a 5m extra way from top speed. I use 70% brake almost ever, but still testing with the other settings as with each update.

Also some settings react different depending on the ESC firmware installed. Your 1.08 ESCs react different then my 1.11 with some settings so not even this can really be tested and compared.

I am really angry already because I fly 50% only testing undocumented and hidden changes in firmware or software. And there are a lots. And you cannot just fly after any change because you dont know what odd behaviour the changes may have brought.

Beware of that "Braking" value.

My tests in the sim indicate that it does not just manage how smoot ...

I haven't found that to be the case having tested in various wind conditions from 0 to max over the last 3 months.

That is my Inspire 1, not tested my Pro yet in varying conditions.
