Hi guys I have been looking at flight extenders for inspire 1 controller, are they really all they are cracked up to be, apart from being a bit fiddly to fix to remotes, do you get a far better reception and much longer range without loss of gps etc, if you do there must be an upgrade option built in to future controllers, or is the only option going to be to do it yourself, like the ite-dbs02 etc, !

There's really no need for these in the UK. The stock remote is more than adequate for VLOS flight.  ...

Once again thanks for your input advice, I was just looking at one of the new inspire with pro cameras fitted with the extended range antenna's as well, The thing I am waiting for is the camera upgraded with the remote zoom, etc, then all will be a lot better for photo shots.
