I want to use taller/wider landing legs. On the last version this was easy because the compass was a clamp on. The newest phantom has it integrated into the leg.
QUESTION: Can I use the older style compass on the latest version Phantom 2-v2?

You can check the plug connector for the compass. If they are the same, than the old compass should work. Try it and let us know how it works out.

The plug should be the same.  They have the upgraded compass and leg to install on the original P2V2.

That is right. And the compass is the same. Should be a no issue change over.
