Two thoughts, 1. the human brain is amazing, how much processing power does it take to make the calculations for all the variables it took for the kid to make the shot, and 2. if I ever fly near people, don't trust anyone and fly twice as high as I think it would take for an idiot to reach the drone with anything.

The story around that clip was told on the news here in Oz last night. First of all the news broadcaster introduced it as 'Great Shot Takes Out Pesky Drone', which pissed me off immediately. But it turns out the P3P was owned by a video production company and they were shooting a promotional film for the college when the kid took it out. Fortunately, the bird did not suffer any serious damage, but the kid was given a serious chewing out - then promoted to Captain of the team
