So, as we have all found out the int mic sucks, but there is hope!  I did some experimenting with phantom mics (those with their own power supplies) and mics that take their power from the OSMO battery. There was a differrence in the self powered mics...better..BUT a cheapo Radio Shack lav mic did very well against a $100 sennhesier lav.  Take your pick

I haven't tried that yet but had been thinking that all that was needed was to get the mic off the OSMO.

OR...stick a lav mic on the person who is speaking, run the wire into am iPhone that has the RODE app, press record, put the phone in their pocket and you get great audio for hours, recording right into the phone..Easy
