Pan and other motion control during timelapse would be a killer feature. This would replace a DSLR on tripod with a motion device (pan/slider) by just using the Osmo - a huge gain for landscape photographers. I would see this implemented something like - using the app screen, touch a motion tracking path (which could include X and Y axis movement) from start to end. Once that's defined, start timelapse and the gimbal traces the movement you told it to over the duration of the timelapse period. For extra flexibility, there could be an 'advanced' setting to draw a curve of motion speed (i.e. do some parts faster than others - e.g. panning 180 degrees but accelerate from 0 to 90 degrees, decelerate down again from 90 to 180). |
