I recently watched a video of a pilot filming around Venice.
He was wearing some type of goggles that presented what the drone saw in front of his eyes.
Can this be done with the standard Inspire 1!

Yes this can be done with the inspire 1. It's called FPV (first person view). A lot of racing drones users wear them. How you connect it to work with the inspire 1 I'm not sure but I do know that there are fellows out there doing it.

Using HeadPlay goggles, which you can purchase from Range Video.

You feed your fpv display (not the DJI GO app display) out of the remote control via the hdmi port into the HeadPlay goggle via its hdmi port.

Thank you very much.  I was a commercial airline captain (now retired) and having difficulty adjusting to flying a drone.  Im not looking out the darn window...

Frendlyfred,  FPV goggles is a nice thing,  it works with Inspire 1 and phantom with HDMI port
