Google has announced that they’re ending support for Google Maps Engine. If you’ve used Google Maps Engine to store your vector and raster data, you should be aware that your GME data will disappear on January 29, 2016.

So I guess the GS function will come to a halt. No more way point flying!!!

Since when DJI uses GME for waypoints??? Last time i check DJI and third party apps developers uses MAP API... But sure let's give you the time of the day and say yes.. NO MORE WAYPOINTS... LOL

I believe with either you have to bring up the google maps and  then the app so the maps load in to be able to set the way points if I'm not mistaken. With out the maps being cached I would suspect you will get a black screen and can't tell where to set the points. I know there are other map services out they but right now they are using the goggles set up.
