I like my Osmo, but battery life is ridiculous short. I think it won't be very difficult to build a bigger battery that can be clicked into the Osmo. What also would be nice is a USB charging port into the bigger battery so you can also ad a battery bank. Also a plus is the heavy base so you can stand you Osmo in a save way. Who wants this?

Excellent idea, probably dismissed, DJI approves only bad ideas ...

The Osmo batteries are cheap just buy extra!

40 euro (45min max ontime) isn't cheap, also I don't want to need to stop and change the battery all the time.

Im guessing you dont have an inspire my TB48 are expensive for 20min of use...

Well Osmo doesnt fly ;)

No reason not to put an external battery port on the camera for auxiliary battery. Or put the battery door in the side of the handle so that you can put a 1/4 20 thread mount in the bottom, or at least make the handle bottom flat enough to stand on its own. Those seem pretty self evident improvements to me. It's a beautiful design with some pretty glaringly odd choices even so.

When the X5/X5r comes online with the OSMO handle there will be a lot of pro users who will find some of these short comings a deal breaker and there are any number of other manufacturers who
Have similar products in the pipeline who will be learning from DJI's missteps.

Good idea, but I guess the problem on this solution, the unit will become heavy on hand, especially after you hold it long time...
