It seems there is a ton of lag from the time I use the joystick (joybutton) to move the camera while holding the handle still. It's a good second or two before it moves.  I did not update the firmware as I'm afraid to screw the damn thing up even more since you can't undo the update.

It's probably the Fast Configure setting was set to slow on your app. Please check the gimbal setting and if the lag still exsit when the setting is Fast. Please try to shoot a video and send the link here. Then I can help you locate the problem. Thanks.
