I went with the Trade Craft Tough case and it's a great deal and a great case!

I have the go professional case and love it. Looks very similar to the one you ordered. It is the one in your list. Very happy with it. And it shipped extremely fast. Great list, thanks for sharing.

I have a Nanuk 945 customizable for my needs. Kinda like Irixs Guy's But more solid. Thanks for Sharing.

Plenty of room, and you can leave the props on...

That 945 case is awesome. Only thing missing on this case is the wheels. But who needs wheels when you can fly. LOL

Thanks for the post.  We have a vision 2 plus model and we would like to leave our prop guards on.  From your picture, it doesn't look like there would be room?  Do you leave them on in the case?  I assume you had to cut out the foam yourself?  Appreciate any info as I would love to purchase asap.

I have the Microraptor Pro by Fuerte Cases and love it.  Durable Mil Spec USA Case and fits my DJI Phantom 2 Vision and + Perfectly.  Comes with a cool adjustible section for holding props, manuals, smaller accessories and tablet.

My dealer where I purchased my Phantom 2 V+ from, had hard cases and a backpack for the Phantom 2. I opted for the backpack as I do a lot of hiking.  Love the backpack, but I will get a waterproof hard case for traveling by air.

I ordered a soft backpack too.   Haven't received it yet, but hope the quality is good.    I don't want to hurt my investment because I purchased a soft case.

Scott I got the same case and like it. I first got one those heavy indestructible plastic cases but it was too big and heavy just to carry it in my SUV. This one is 13 pounds loaded and the plastic one was 20 pounds loaded. A noticeable difference for us old geezers.

I purchased an inexpensive soft case for my V2+ from eBay ($39).   The case is too small for a V2+, but likely fits the V2 (non-vision).   I don't think it pays to send it back to china.   I'd be happy to donate it to someone local though......  Here's the link if you're interested.

my question is it seems like the remote isnt held securly and the props gaurds arent recessed in the pic on the hard shell case.

but without seeing it in person I thought I would ask about it.

anyone have the soft case in the llink can comment about that one?

iceman, yes, the prop guard section in the hard case are recessed perfectly for the guards.  the remote slot, while it looks loose, fits quite snugly.  except for the fact that the outside of my case would be beat all to hell, i would feel very comfortable checking the hard case as baggage.  i wont do that, but saying it just to give you a sense of how securely and rugged the interior is.  but dont be fooled by the photos, it is a LARGE and rather HEAVY case.  not for hiking but perfect for long road trips piled in with luggage.

also how tall is the case?
looking at the design, while cosing the case...
I might be paranoid that I am applying either too much  pressure  or even presure to the props.

I guess I could just remove the props.

you're welcome.  

without the phantom and accessories in it, id guess 15 pounds.  with everything in it at least 20-25.  dimensions are 9.8 x 22.8 x 24.6 inches.  no need to remove the props, it doesnt press on them much.  the variated top foam that you can see in my photo is very gentile with the bird and components.  

just lookingover some reviews from amazon.
the guy that gave it 3 stars posted some  pics . shows a phantom 2 seems too tall for the case
illustrates my concerns about the lid.

i have a p2v (non-plus) but i added a rotorpixel aftermarket.  i love it but some may not.  fits my phantom 2 fine.  i own 3 cases and this one feels the most secure and most well made.  the lower 'foam' is rigid and about as high quality as you can get.  the amazon reviews on that page you linked are certainly way more positive than not:


nothing is perfect, if there was a perfect case, everybody would only buy that one.  there are dozens of cases.  some very good and some very bad.  this one is in the top 20% based upon my usage but everyone has different needs.  i see how someone would complain about it being too big or too heavy, but complaining that it doesnt fit the bird i dont get that.  i couldnt ask for a better fit honestly.
