Just like the firmware that came with the DJI Osmo when you purchased it, firmware 1.2.1.60 still has the issue when recording 4K in 4096x2160 resolution in that the DJI Go app blue-screened and the camera of the Osmo rebooted.
Since there has been confusion about this issue that was fixed in firmware 1.1.1.50 ( but introduced a LOT more issues ) and whether or not it was/is still resolved in the 1.2.1.60 downgrade. I have tested all 4k recording modes on the Osmo with the latest firmware and here is what works and what does not work properly when recording in either NTSC or PAL mode.
NTSC:
3840x2160 30fps - No issue, camera records fine.
3840x2160 24fps - No issue, camera records fine.
4096x2160 24fps - Does not work and causes the app to blue-screen and the camera to reboot.
PAL:
3840x2160 25fps - No issue, camera records fine.
3840x2160 24fps - No issue, camera records fine.
4096x2160 25fps - Does not work and causes the app to blue-screen and the camera to reboot.
4096x2160 24fps - Does not work and causes the app to blue-screen and the camera to reboot.
In a nutshell, no 4096x2160 works in firmware 1.2.1.60, just as it didn't in v1.0.1.19
Hope this helps and clears up any confusion related to the downgrade.
