guys if your using an HDMI board can you tell me wht FW you are using please and have you any problems ?

can you tell me the RC and BIRD FW and what app you are using ?

Using all the latest FW, iPad Air 2 ios 9.1, no issues at all.

hi Patrick ... that's the problem mate the radio wont take any updates using USB sticks SD cards or the app .. iv even tried plugging it into the gimbal of the Phantom to no avail .... I have a couple of threads going and there doesn't seem to be a fix for this ...

im 100% sure there is something wrong with the radio .... my HDMI board wont work with the old FW on the RC so I cant use my new 300 pound goggles ....

I didn't try the app because the RC needs to be 1.3.20 or more mine was 1.1.8 ....

then I read it will work using the app even if you have old FW so I tried it and to my amazement it worked ...

the HDMI board still didn't work because the bird was on FW 1.1.9 so I updated to 1.2.8 and now it all works fine ....

I was wondering if you would know where I could see a video of the hdmi output on a phantom 3 advantage? I was wanting to get the hdmi to put on my phantom 3 advantage but I have read it doesn't do too well . They say it is ok on the pro because it has more bit rate then the advantage. I wanted to see for myself.  I thought the only differancle in the two was the camera. Thanks for any help.

Sorry  i don't quite get your point . Do you want a video of how to install the module or do you want to see a video that transmitted by the HDMI module ? If you want to learn how to install the module , please check this thread : http://forum.dji.com/thread-29722-1-1.html

Just wanted to see what the HDMI output on a phantom 3 A   looks like on a screen. Just thought someone may have posted a shot of some sort of what it looks like on another screen supplied by the HDMI output. I have looked but have seen all kinds of pictures but nothing fron the HDMI output.
