Finally recieved osmo today, should I update with the New FW (which isnt an update but is there any benefit from installing) or will it be exactley the same as out of the box?

I would not bother to be honest..

Cheers, all fired up and everything seems to work ok but have not altered any settings so far, am presuming I have to alter to PAL being in UK

Unless you will be outputting the video to a TV then this also makes no difference if you just plan on uploading to YouTube or Vimeo for example..

If you have the 1.1.1 update don't touch it its stable enough for me was able to shoot B rolls for a music video in full 4K with no issues my Osmo was A1

If it works for you and there isn't something broken or a new feature in the firmware (which doesn't exist at the moment), don't touch it.

If the current firmware version works fine, you can choose not to upgrade and wait for the next firmware version.
