I did everything all of the videos suggest but I am not sure the firmware update was successful. I never got the file on the SD card stating it was completed. On my IPad and the DJI app it says that the Camera and Aircraft need to be upgraded. What do I do?

There may be another way but what I do is put the Micro SD card in my computer. The file name with bin on it should have the latest version, which is now 1.4.0010.

When the upgrade is complete , the camera status indicator will become sold green and the aircraft will sound "D-DD" . Please check the "How to Update the Firmware v1.4" as that link : http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-3/download   ; By the way ,the all-in-one firmware v1.4.0010 does not include the remote controller update package. However, for the best user experience, it is recommended that the users who are using firmware versions older than v1.3.20 to upgrade the firmware to v1.3.20 before updating the aircraft.
