My setup:
P3P
Ipad Mini 2 (with cellular) IOS9.1
GO APP V 2.4.1
A/C 1.4.10
RC 1.4.30

I was running IOS 9.0 and GO APP previous to 2.4.0 and RC previous to 1.4.30 I was occaisionally losing video feed so after seeing Tim's post DJI Forum No Video Problem (solution) regarding this issue I thought I would see if changing the transfer rate to a lower value (4mbps) would help, however I was not able to select the 'custom channel' option as it was greyed out and therefore assume that the ability to adjust the transfer rate is only avalable when setting a custom channel? and only in the lates FW so today I decided to update my ipad mini 2 to IOS 9.1 and at the same time update my RC and GO APP to the latest release (missed the fact that latest release of the GO APP is now 2.4.1 and thought it was still 2.4.0 got distratected for a second) to see if that would give me access to the 'custom' option in the image transmission sub menu still no joy and it is still greyed out


What am I missing here? RC was powered up and connected to the A/C all indication in the GO APP were green/normal.

go to the language settings and set it to ENGLISH USA ... I did it a few months ago and its fine .. we are not allowed custom mode in the UK ....

No wonder I could not work it out! I wonder why we are not allowed custom mode in the UK?

no bother mate ... don't know why we don't get it ....

its to do with the CE requirement , it must select channels automatically,

If you want the expanded channels as well you do an the mod.  

@ Mad_Angler - assuming you are referring to the 32 channel hack? not sure I want to do that as it's illegal in the UK no?

Yes but so would manually selecting a channel in the UK.

True, point noted.  Will just have to see what happens when I get a chance to fly next if this weather ever lets up enough.

some people do and some people don't ... it doesn't make us bad people .... id rather break a few rules in life rather than toe the line .... when your out in your car and you stray a few MPH over the limit your not being legal ....
