So I´m helping a photographer friend getting started who bought his P3 Pro in May but hasn´t come
around to unpacking until now (yeah some guys are like that)

Just want to check with all you savvy folks in here, so he´s got the first firmware for RC/Bird,
should he start with upgrading tthe RC firmware to v1.3.20 ?
And then take the bird straight to  v1.4.0010?
And is that it?

Install 1.3.2 on the bird, remote controller, and batteries. And, then install 1.4 on the bird and batteries. If you need detailed instructions, then check out the following thread:

Then , upgrade the aircraft straight to version 1.4.0010 with your SD card .

Martin, go for the latest updates as suggested by Patrick. The latest will bring you up to speed without any issues. BTW, I am one of those people that buy something and let it sit and not jump right into it.
