I noticed that the newer version with the updated props, motors and ESCs seems quieter that V2.  I wonder if it's the props that make it more quiet.  Have you guys noticed this too?

Yes. The new props, 9450, have a different airfoil design than the older 9443 props. The new design was to match the greater output power of the new motors. One of the side benefits is the new airfoil is quitter as well as more effective. Enjoy the V3

Are these 9450 propellers supposed to work with Phantom 2 Vision+ version 2, too?

Yes 9450 propellers can work with V2~

Thanks for the reply.  I have heard reports that the new props will decrease run times on the older phantom 2's such as version 2 but they do seem to work okay.
