Well.... this is how I do it
But the weakness is to detach those phone holder, attach quick shoe, then click it... Don't know how many minute is that... (also, the screw is not quite tight - a little bit risky, must admit)
Yours is definitely, assurely, really, very extremely fast, just find a cup, put it, DONE, less than a half of second

And if it needs to be higher I just turn a bowl upside down and set the cup on top of it.
May not be your cup of tea but it works for me.
