I know it's illegal to fly over 400ft, but I'm just curious what's the maximum altitude it can reach, thanks

As you can see in the APP, you can set the altitude restrict from 20m to 500 m .

Illegal is a little strong, more like discouraged beyond 3 miles from an airport.

I think a few Phantoms have gone into near earth orbit in recent times, if you read the 'fly away' posts

I have had mine up to 500 Metres which is 1640 feet.

I took mine up to 500m/1640ft yesterday.

I saw your post and video about the 500 m height achieved with the P3S.
I've already tried the same but I didn't succeed to overcome the 120 m barrier. Ther must be some changes in the configuration that I' m not doing.
Which flight mode did you use for that? Do you have you GPS turned on?

Yes you have to disable the beginners mode and change the altitude limit to 500 meters manually ,
and because you are in Brazil that means that you get CE mode 500 meters of range in open areas
so in order to get the 500 meters please try in an open area ,, and please let us know whats the altitude that you get

im in CE also with the standard and i get 100 to 200 meters altitude in the city before losing signal , and in open area i get 300 to 400 meters with windsurf for the antenna

The aircraft should be set on "GPS Mode" , and please remember to check the Maximum Flight Altitude in DJI Go App .
