Hi. May I ask what your experiences are regarding warranty repair turn around times from DJI (either China or USA service center)? I am thinking of sending mine for repair.

Thanks

I sent mine to California from Texas, and it took about a month from the time I mailed it until I got it back.

Well, they said nothing was wrong with it. I don't doubt that though, I think I have corrupt Assistant software. After the last update, the transmitter would not start the quad after calibrating it through the software. It worked fine when I got it back which tells me their software corrected the problem. We will see what happens when I calibrate it agai, which I'm scared to do.

Delete your software from your computer and reinstall it from DJI.

Gerry,

I did delete and reinstalled it with the same result. I can't remember where the sticks are supposed to show when callibrating, but after the software shows the calibration is complete, if you move both sticks down and inward, on the software all the stick positions go to the right. When calibrated properly, the top three will be all the way to the left, and the bottom will be all the way to the right. Or it vise versa, can't remember. If any of these makes sense??

This is correct. I just plugged mine in and that is what I get.  Both sticks down and to the middle as if you were starting the motors.
Top 3 to the left and bottom to the right on the calibration.
To get all my calibrations to go right, I had to move both sticks up and both to the right.

So apparently my software is calibrating it to think both sticks are up and to the right when they are in fact both down and to the middle. Because of this, the motors will not start.  Sooner or later I will find out if is still doing it. Because DJI didn't have any problems with it, I can only come up having corrupt software. I searched everything DJI on my computer when I uninstalled it, and there was one file I could not delete. I suspect that file is the culprit.

Right. I moved both of my sticks up and to the right to get all indicators to go to the right.  Reloading the software should over write that one file.
