Did anybody fly in the past year or so with a Phantom to Brazil?

If yes, any issues that I should be aware?

Any mentions of Anatel or whatever?

I want to know  that IF they see it, will I get in trouble?

I will be registered as mine from Canada so, no duty issues.

No, they didn't stopped her.

Well travelling from Canada is less risky then from US.

I dont´t think you would have a problem with customs, but I would recomend you to send an email to ANATEL and INFRAERO, asking about the regulations and keep the answer with you while traveling.

Just to avoid any problem.

Hi, flew from europe to brazil fortaleza in november this year and no problem in customs or airport

I just came back from Brazil. No problems.

I am going to brazil start of 2017 and want to know do you need any insurance or anything to be able to fly the drone? I have a Phantom 4

When I went, I did not need anything.

All I did was to registered the aircraft with Canadian customs.

You might want to check with your airplane company to make sure all the documentations you need.

When I was leaving there, they mentioned some rules that were about to start... something like cannot get close to people, etc. I'm not sure where to check that.

I'm from Brazil and I have already researched this because I wanted to travel out of Brazil and I was afraid of the back
If you are sorted into the inspection by immigration and the Phantom is not registered in ANATEL, they can confiscate your Phantom because by the Brazilian law only registered aircraft can fly in Brazil
There are several commentary of Brazilians on the Internet who bought the Phantom in the USA and when they arrived in Brazil the Phantom was confiscated

You might get lucky and pass directly or can be unlucky and be sorted to the inspection
