I got the vibration as well.
Downgraded and upgraded IMU cal.
Did not help :-(

Could you please upload the flight log to MEGA or DropBox and send us a link ?
2. Upload **ALL the flight log(.DAT files) in the aircraft to dropbox and send us the link:**
a. Connect your aircraft(USB port at the tail) to a PC using the included USB cable. Turn on the Remote Controller and the aircraft, then open the DJI GO app.
b. Click “Mode” icon to view the “Advanced Settings”.
c. Click “MC Settings=>Advanced Settinds=>Enter Read Flight Data Mode”.
d. After a few seconds, the DJI Flight Log disk will be detected by the PC and you will be able to access the data.

Helpful hints (I hope) for your v1.5 upgrade.
I have just spent a very stressful 24 hours performing this upgrade and here is some i want to share.  

I tried to upgrade the aircraft firmware first. However it kept failing and investigating the log file showed checksum errors with my SD card. However, Windows chkdsk showed no errors with the SD card.

In the meantime I upgraded the RC firmware via the DJI Go app and it went reasonably well after a couple of attempts.

I kept trying to repeat the aircraft firmware upgrade by reloading the .bin file from the DJI site and reformatting the SD card however I finally gave up and purchased a new SD card. I installed the .bin file in the new SD card and switched on and the firmware upgrade finally gave me a solid green light. Log file showed success also.

However, on launching the DJI Go app there was no video signal and the aircraft showed as disconnected.The RC and aircraft were paired though.

I finally decided to reinstall the DJI Go app on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. This was also not straightforward as it looks like app is not yet supported for my tablet as when I searched for the app it could not be found.  I therefore decided to do a manual install of the application on to my tablet by downloading the app from the DJI website in to my windows PC then transferring across to my tablet.

I did this and I finally got a video signal and DJI Go app can see my aircraft finally. I still have to do a lot more checks before taking to air but I hope this helps.

In a nutshell, the v1.5 upgrade was not trivial and I had to completely upgrade everything to get it working.

Im having the no signal and no live feed. Attempted to upgrade the firmwre without success. In the DJI Go app (iphone) is however showing aircraft firmware 1.5.3. Already tried countless times on multiple method but no go. Still having no signal and no live feed.
Appreciate if anyone have the solution for this

If its lower than 1.4 then yeah.  Its not required but generally yields more success..

hello guys I just received my new p3p in the mail upgrading from my older p3 standard... I am absolutely loving it and so far have no issues at all. My question is related to the firmware upgrade. I am currently on FW version 1.5.3 and my remote is on 1.5.7.... I received my drone and immediately updated my FW directly to v1.5.3 I have no checked but is this an all-in-one update? Do I have all those advanced flight modes that FW 1.4 had to offer? Any replies would be greatly appreciated and happy flying all!

Hi guys, I have done my upgrade. It didn't go as smooth as I hoped but I got there eventually. My dilemma is that I have 2 sad cards that now I cannot reformat with the DJI app. I get a message in the right upper corner saying format suggested. I would like to do it but then when I go the menu  to do so. The tab for reformatting is not there‼️⁉️
I have flown the bird and taken pictures and video. Seems to record the stuff. I have not downloaded anything as yet. Any suggestions

Is very important use a micro SDXC card into Phantom 3 Pro, to record perfectly all images and movies, instead of a normal one, due the speed of data transfer.

Some people are having the same issue you are having, it seems like it will need to come in for warranty repair.

Haven't flown my P3P in a few months and went to update to v1.5.  I'm using the same SD card that I had and had updated previous FM's with.  When I copy the .bin file into the root directory, insert in the P3P and turn it on I get the D-DD beep and the green gimbal light stays on.  I'm not getting other beeps as I did before.   Anyone else have this going on or am I missing something?  From DJ I am dowloading P3X_W_V01.05.0030-4.bin

I am having exactly the same problem!  Downgrade is not possible.  Once you attempt to upgrade to v.05.0030, trying to install v1.04.0010 gives the same error as trying to re-install v1.05.0030.   There is obviously an issue with the new firmware version and should be fixed by issuing a new firmware fix that can successfully install once the changes introduced by 1.05.0030 are introduced.

DJI support only suggest that you send your drone to the nearest repair center but doing so is not always feasible  (I am currently in a photo shoot and don't have an permanent address where my P3P can be sent back to).  I would believe that with so many of us having EXACTLY the same problem, DJI will move aggressively to create a firmware fix that can install over the damage created by 1.05.0030.   Please advice.

OK - so new to Drones...   I have a Phantom 3 Advanced.   Connected my iPad mini to the controller, loaded down the app and everything looked great.   App came up and said 4 items needed to be upgraded (firmware).   In order of appearance a) Controller, b) Camera, c) Aircraft and d) Battery.   I started updating in the order given (Controller firmware update went fine and then....).   Can't get anything to update on b), c) & d) above.   I contacted the Help Desk (Phantom "Chat") and they basically told me "wrong order" and I would need to send _____________ in to be repaired...   

At this point I am really confused and would appreciate any guidance available...   Thanks.

You are talking about downgrading FW if inregularity is seen when engines are idle.

Nowhere we find the procedure to downgrade ....
If we put the  earlier FW on SD card and try to update, there is seen an abort because of same or older FW
Can you give us detailed procedure on downgrading.

I have downloaded the new version 1.5.0030 onto a new P3 pro I purchased but it has not updated the battery or a/c firmware as mentioned.  What firmware should I download first to get the latest firmware for the a/c and batteries.  They are still showing up as needing updates.

Since you left the gimbal lock on during the update I would be sure to calibrate the gimbal before flight to make sure it's okay.  Also, like was said previously calibrate the IMU and compass after the update.

If its older than 1.3 then update to 1.3 first them to 1.5 ( RC update also )

Very new to quadcopters here, the Phantom 3 pro is my 1st. The firmware update for me was a very smooth process once I had realised I'd downloaded the correct patch (was atempting to install Adv firmware...doh!)

What I've done is use the supplied 16gb micro SD purely for firmware updates and bought another class 10 64gb for every day Phantom use. I've also took care once the fimrware was sucessfully installed a IMU re-calibration although I have not yet done a gimble/camera calibration to date as I've yet to locate it within the DJI Go app. I've only managed a 20 minute flight so far and a few hovers in the back garden due to the terrible weather here in the UK, but I have to say I'm hooked these toys are utterly amazing.

I have a new Phantom 3, updated the firmware 1.6 as instructed. Then I noticed that I did not have the automated flight features, such as way point zip line point interests. Did some research and found out that these features were on the 1.4 firmware, called DJI to get instructions on how to roll back to 1.4. They said I needed to start with version 1.3 and work my way up, problem is 1.6 won't let me roll back to 1.3, so I rolled back to 1.5 which work, then tried to roll back to 1.4  which didn't work. Has anybody successively rolled back from 1.6 to 1.3 and back up to 1.6?

I would not skip 1.4, that is the only version that has the intelligent flight features like waypoint and point of view, according to DJI technical support.

these days I've updated my Phantom 3 Advanced to the new firmware; unfortunately I have first updated the RC to the latest FW and then I started to update the P3. Everything went good, the logfile reports no problems, and the app shows the correct new fw versions. But the app says still that I have to update the copter and the batteries. Is that because I updated the RC first and it did not get the right information or something else? Hope I can ignore this ... Thanks for any help!

Ok so Ive done FW updates before. I understand the process.  However this time, I get a long solid tone at then end and the gimbal light stays red.  The txt file says update failed, reboot aircraft and retry.  I have many times with no success. Ive tried different memory cards. Ive tried to let the long solid tone go on for 50 minutes with no change. Ive tried redownloading the firmware
I jumped ahead to FW V01.06. 040 with no success.

If I put the SD card in the gimbal without a FW bin file on it, the quad powers up fine and the GO App says in the about area that it has the latest firmware for the aircraft, RC and App.  But I have no video on my smart device.. The top says No Signal.
Ive tried different smart devices, different cables, deleting the app and reinstalling the app. Still no video.
I have recorded video onto the sd card but still no video on smart device.

Ive done the press the little button in on the gimbal while restarting the aircraft with the same long tone at the end and the txt file saying failed.

Ive tried having the controller on while trying to update the aircraft firmware only to have it tell me the the aircraft update failed on screen as well as the the txt file and long tone with red light on the gimbal.
Please help

I purchased a Phantom 3 Professional in May 2015 (did not receive until June 2015) from the DJI website. It worked normally with the previous DJI Pilot app and I used it for one month. At the end of June 2015, I returned to university and left my drone at home and did not use the Phantom 3 until last week during my Christmas break.

I have updated my aircraft sucessfully to 1.6, and was told 1.3 is the latest firmware for the controller. As I attempted to update the controller firmware, to my surprise, the controller does not even read any USB stick or device plugged in! My iPhone does not charge when connected nor do I receive a "Do you trust this device?" on my iPhone, like I remembered. I contacted DJI online support and was told my controller and aircraft are not synced and I should attempt to sync via the DJI Go app. The thing is the DJI Go app does not recognize being connected with my devices! There is no "Enter camera view" like I am told by DJI Support. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling on multiple devices and the problem is still there.

anyone else have this problem? any advice on what to do?

New P3 Pro purchased just before Christmas.  Worked fine before the "upgrade" and now I have the vibration problem at idle.  Makes me very nervous - vibration kills airplanes, and I fly routinely over swampland and water!  PLEASE FIX!!

Turning gains down to 80 has solved it for some..

UPDATE: December 1st: If you experience a vibration in the motors at idle as demonstrated in this thread, please DOWNGRADE to firmware 1.4.0010 ( just download the 1.4 firmware and follow the same steps below ) and then UPGRADE back to 1.5.0030 followed by an IMU Calibration.

I would like to do this, I think I have the same wobble issue.... unfortunately version 1.4 is not available anymore on the downloads page, only the instruction pdf. Not very helpful. Anyone still got 1.4.0010 for a P3 pro laying around for me?
