If you guys are so keen to get this handle, instead of complaining, cancel the order and save money by using a bit of ingenuity.

You only need a monopod or selfie stick. If it hasn't already got one get a ball head to attach the Osmo and another one, with a small clamp for the Smartphone.

Weird!  So you upgraded the X3 along with the Inspire, and everything worked.  Then you put the X3 on the Osmo, which also worked, but putting the X3 back on the Inspire then didn't?

They have about a week to sort it out before mine arrives, then I'll be impatient!   ;-)

This guys says if you reinstall the app it works again, but only one at a time.  His solution is to use the iPhone for the Osmo and iPad for the Inspire.

My handle kit will arrive tomorrow at my local German dealer. I'll give you feedback asap.

I've had some issues starting up the DJO Go app after the latests update. The app just quitted after I've tried to connect to the Inspire 1. I didn't try to uninstall/reinstall but what helped was to clear the video cache - from the settings menu of my iPad.

Maybe this helps out as well for the Osmo/Inspire 1 thing.

That's great!  I'm still not 100% sure what I'm supposed to do when mine arrives.  Do I ignore the Christmas update and go straight to the 12/28 one?  I don't want to brick the Osmo as a lot of people seem to be doing.

Jim - that's exactly what I've done.

I skipped the Christmas Update (and even some more) and updated the Inspires (including the Gimbal) first.

The handle kit arrived today and it worked like a charm ... no need for additional updates on either side with my equippment. The only "mistake" was, that I'Ve forgot to connect via wireless - first.

Mine might arrive today.  I just updated the Inspire so all good.  When the Osmo arrives I'll update straight to the latest and try to remember connect the wifi first!

Got my handle and after doing all the updates and so on it works great!   Looking forward to trying it out in some different situations!
