I think DJI should supply these to everyone for free.Thats what i think.

I agree mate .. its a shame you need to look for stuff like this in the first place ...  I have no cracks yet but im tempted to buy these just in case ....

They seem to be good quality, I am like you no cracks yet and also tempted to get a set on the basis prevention is better than cure, any idea how fitting these could affect warranty?

I would like to think they don't affect your warranty as your stopping it from cracking and whos to say you had them on ???????? iv ordered a set and im putting them on ....

My Phantom 3 still has No visible cracks or anything of the sort, and I fly hard. Then I looked at the above pics.
Yikes, never had my reason to take my Phantom 3 apart, but after seeing those splits, oh my. I may have to delve deeper?
So far, this has been a trouble and blemish free drone. Never had an issue or problem since day one. Still I'm Very pleased.

Hopefully this gracious good luck, I'm experiencing will carry over, well into the coming new year. ;-)

yeah that's fine but have you seen the price of them ? big time rip off .... I wouldn't pay that for them ..

If you have a good shell (like most owners) they are completely useless.
If you have a shell that develops cracks, they may be of some limited value.
But not much because cracking isn't a fatal flaw that makes your Phantom fall from the sky and DJI will replace a faulty shell anyway.

Wrong.  The strong-arms I happily purchased from UAVbits make my P3 TWICE as fast as yours.  My battery lasts twice as long and, well, stuff like that.   So there.

Have you been using that Slippery-Spray on yours?

I got rid of the prop guards and installed these strong plates. Been using them for over 150 hrs of flight and they are great.
