well I have ordered and fully paid for the Dual control version I hope it comes that way if not more than happy to have a single control version they can forward the second control latter with a complementary high capacity battery

It would seem logical to me that orders direct from dji would all be single remote on the shelf the extra remote could be added at time of order fill because at that time they would add the extra batteries to the case for single box shipment this would save shipping cost and labor. I can understand dji having a varied response as I am sure they are very busy this is only a guess but I think it's better not to call them at the moment.

I just received confirmation this morning that my order of the Inspire 1 is being shipped and have a FedEx tracking number.  I ordered mine on 11/18 directly from DJI.

I checked FedEx tracking but it is not registering as of yet, FedEx may not have picked it up as of this reply.  Will post as soon as FedEx has it.

email came through from DJI.. all pre-order shipment starting 31st Dec 2014.

Just received confirming email from DJI that my Inspire 1 has been shipped!  I ordered on Nov 25.

Just got my confirmation as well!!  I order Nov 25 direct from DJI.  

This may be old new to some but I thought I would share, I just received this at 5am from DJI

I have had NO CONFIRMING e-mail and I ordered direct on Nov. 13.
Have had an e-mail saying shipments will start on Dec. 31.

That good news, uhmmmm! I woke up this morning to an email from DJI online Rep, and I quote, Dear Kevin, The delivery is out soon. Pls keep informed. Happy New Year!...SO maybe I'll see something soon. I ordered 27NOV2014. Happy to see others are getting there's. I hope with all the trash talk positive and negative at times, we provide feed back upon receiving this much anticipated tool. To all in advance, be safe flying and have a Happy New Year! Ordered November 24.

Ordered Nov 16 direct to dji.  Did get the email but no shipping.  

Ordered Nov 13 from DJI. Single remote. FedEx status is "Label Created".

What is reason to your canceling?

quite simple really:  within 24 hours, I received 3 completely different messages from DJI sales reps:
        - first “guaranteed by 31st”
        - secondly “maybe this week”
        - thirdly “realistically by the 7th Jan, but only the single operator version"

hard to know which answer to believe, if any....

Ik kreeg vandaag dit bericht van mijn dealer Toemen in Den Bosch:

we hebben vanmorgen het bericht ontvangen dat de Inspires morgen vanuit DJI verscheept worden naar de wereldwijde importeurs.

Naar verwachting komen de modellen medio januari bij ons binnen.

Ordered direct from DJI on Nov 12th for delivery to Los Angeles and no shipping confirmation yet.

Are dual remote orders delayed? Has anyone with an early dual remote order received a shipping notice?

I ordered a 2 remote system from BH, and they had explained to me that was the way it was going to ship.  one box with Inspire and components and another with the second remote.  I wonder if has to do with the amount of lithium in one box as a shipment vs luggage?  Who knows, at least everyone will be getting them soon.

From the email DJI sent out they're not delayed, but you'll get the an Inspire and 1 remote initially and then a 2nd remote later.

My dealer says they expect 2nd controller to be shipped separately in about two weeks.

I'd be happy if the Inspire and single remote ship! I'm just concerned because I ordered way early and it seems single remote orders placed weeks later are already shipping. Anyways, fingers crossed!

My order status now says "Prepare" (yesterday it said "pending") and it's DHL.

I ordered 2 days ago, so I imagine I'm pretty late in the que.

They initially said 21 working days from my order, but I'm not really in that big of a hurry. Can't really do much with it here other than hovering in my basement till late March. Too cold.
