Does anyone else who ordered from DJI the day it was announced not have a shipping notice yet?

posted today FEDex eta 5th (according to fedex monday) midwest USA direct order rom DJI 11-16

The email says it will ship out December 31st. Its now 1:51am 12/31/2014. They are most likely sleeping...

Yes same here, got first message on December 25, and a few days ago 31th. But got no recently tracking number. Can not wait to get my inspire1

Ordered Nov 13th uk DHL no shipping.. Has a long way to come..

I was told that they haven't gotten the shipment of controllers in their warehouse yet so they are shipping them with only one controller at this time.

I ordered the dual controller package on November 13th and still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation. I have seen others with shipping confirmations that ordered on the 16th and 17th. And now I have to wait for the second controller. Whatever happened to the queue?

bsigman, ordered mine: 2014-11-13 20:11:54 . This is 14 hours after you, and I received a shipping notification. Doesn't sound right.I would try to contact them by chat.

It doesn't sound like they are shipping first come first serve.

I understand they will be shipping the second controller separately at a later date but I'm curious if there is any correlation between those who ordered one or two controllers and shipping notifications. Has anyone who ordered 2 controllers received notification?

Is it me, or I haven't seen any dealers getting any tracking numbers to the customers yet.

Just got word from my "friend" at B&H..will be receiving my inspire next Wednesday !!! confirmed..

I'm hoping there's just a shipping notification issue for dual remote orders?

It makes no sense to ship dual remote orders with one remote and also delay them behind single remote orders made a month later. This isn't the case, right? Can anyone from DJI confirm that the very first dual remote orders are part of the "First Round" that's now shipping?

I ordered from UAV-Outlet.com a Tier 1 dealer in Florida, USA.  They haven't received them yet as far as I know but I hope soon!  I have had excellent experience buying phantoms and parts/batteries from them!

Conversation with my dealer (Tier 1) has not heard from DJI yet in terms of actual tracking number. But the way I understand it, is that all Inspire 1's regardless if you ordered 1 or 2 remotes will only ship with a single remote. So, I don't think they are delaying shipment if you ordered 2 remotes. But, it sounds like the second remote isn't coming in a separate package, its coming at a later date, as in late possibly Feb... I too ordered dual remotes.

Again, I am just going by what was explained to me.

Mijn Inspire is afkomstig van B & H , en ik hoorde dat ze beginnen met het verschepen van volgende week , dus half januari wel kloppen . Nogmaals , ik zou erg blij met een half januari levering. Ik geniet van al dit goede nieuws . Gefeliciteerd ! Je moet vliegen binnenkort!

I received a tracking number today. Tracking shows label printed but not in the hands of FedEx yet. It says estimated delivery Monday Jan 5th 2015 (west coast USA)

If I were doing the shipping, I would be boxing up the first units for shipping to dealers. I'll bet they have an employee (or two) working full time processing the individual orders one at a time, printing labels and entering the tracking numbers into the system while noting parts missing for back order (large batteries and second controllers). I'd start slapping labels on the individual orders once the dealers orders are on the way. By doing the dealer orders before the individual orders it gives the dealers a day or two to get them out the door.

DJI is screwing there dealers by fulfillment of individual direct orders.  I would think they would give more priority to the dealer instead of direct.  I'm sure dealers may get a little angry over this.

I ordered on 11/12/2014 when the name was thought to be Triumph, I ordered from UAV Direct in TX USA and I live in Illinois. I received an email from DJI saying they started to ship but nothing from UAV Direct to confirm if anything was shipped to them. In fact the website for UAV Direct states they will ship the Inspire on Monday December 29th. I don’t think that worked out, too bad they don’t keep there web site up to date.

I'm afraid Mark is correct. It appears that DJI is prioritizing their direct sales while putting their dealers in the back seat. This is not a good way to build dealer loyalty. First they go into competition with their own dealers....then screw them over by not giving them priority shipping. DJI gets away with this because they have little competition....but when/if anyone else comes up with a better mousetrap dealers will remember their treatment.

This will sound harsh because it is really, but you come off as a cry-baby expecting special treatment.

You pre-ordered a product and became an early-adopter. Nothing DJI has done sets them apart from Apple, Samsung, Google, or just about any other modern hi-tech company. They took your money and promised to ship the product by the 31st of Dec, which they would have done if you hadn't cancelled.

Just because you buy a product doesn't mean you're entitled to be informed of every strategic, tactical, supply, or design decision of that company.

I ordered mine 12/02. My status is the same as yours.

I am sure they will get their initial shipment on Monday 1/5 and then ship out on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.  That would be best case scenario.  

I think it would be demonstrative if everyone who wasn't in the first round of pre-orders continued to flood the board with multiple threads and assinine posts asking when the next round of pre-orders will be shipped. Constantly.

It'll be especially useful if you create an entire new thread about your friends uncle who told your barber via MSN Messenger that he heard someone tell his cardiologist about shippments leaving "OMG Becky, like at 1436hrs, STAT!". (confirmed)

Also, why haven't DJI confirmed this yet?! THE PEOPLE DESERVE TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!

I had posted in another tread yesterday that B&H assured me that they were getting them in this week with enough units to fill all pre-orders, and even some NEW orders.  Couple that information with DJI releasing news via email today that the official release date is December 31st, and anyone receiving an Inspire before that time is in possession of a production unit.  So, DJI will likely insure B&H has them in hand tomorrow (New Years Eve) for the release date, and then will start to prepare for shipping pre-orders.  B&H will be closed on New Years Day, and as usual will  close at 1pm ET on Friday's.  As you probably know... they are NOT open on Saturday's, so... Sunday and Monday expect to see an email with a tracking number.  If you receive an email Friday or before Bonus!  However, as far as I'm concerned... my feeling is... until Monday, I am patiently going on that assumption that pre-ordered units are shipping no later than Monday, Jan. 5th.

Ordered single remote version direct from DJI on 11/17.  Got my notice of shipping label sent to FedEx with same info posted above.

Initially it had an estimated delivery date of Jan. 5th, like others have posted.  But, now it says, "N/A". :p  Shipping labels are just that.  It doesn't mean the box has been put in the hands of FedEx yet.  I would take any estimated delivery date with a grain of salt at this point, at least until the shipping status updates to something that shows it is actually in transit.
