Yes the 2nd controller will ship separately, the I1 with single controller will ship first and then is the 2nd RC.

Was told by "friend" that works at B&H that I could come pick up next Wednesday..

I still haven't.

Still waiting on shipping confirmation.  I was told yesterday it would ship today....

Dual controller order. Ordered direct from DJI

Still no shipping confirmation yet (and yes, I have checked my spam folders). It's disappointing to see that single controller orders placed at later dates are getting shipped out already while us dual controller orders are put at the back.

The email from DJI gave the impression that order priority would be retained (i.e. getting an I1 with single controller shipped out first) with the 2nd controller sent separately at the later date. But seems not the case?

I'm not willing to wait that long.  I may cancel and order locally.

I hope nobody thinks that I want anything from DJI for waiting.  I am just being sarcastic, I cant believe that people think that DJI owes them something for having to wait for their second remote or for the initial shipment of Inspire 1's.

The dealers' orders and the individual direct orders are shipped from China at the same time.

I haven't gotten confirmation either.  Ordered 11-14, dual transmitter.  Shipping to Haleiwa Hawaii.

email came through from DJI.. all pre-order shipment starting 31st Dec 2014.

I got the same DJI  email about shipping on the 31st but if you ordered two controllers second would be shipped later. Also B and H has a huge shipment they start sending out tomorrow.  

Just got off of Live Chat.  I was promised my order would ship tomorrow.  Here's hoping that's true!

I was told on 29 Dec that B&H will not be sending my "two controller kit" until the full kit came into stock - despite my request to send the unit with the one controller as soon as it became available and the other when it comes in... Anyone else had any feedback like this?

I ordered direct on 13 Nov.
And have had no confirmation of shipment.

Regarding your questions - never unsubscribed from the DJI emails. and yes, same email address as used in the forum.

Update: delayed. Now showing 1/7/15 delivery.

FEDEX has updated their tracking to indicate that shipment was picked up.  

Interesting to note that DJI requested a "future delivery" date of 1/7/2014. Apple does the same thing with their product releases to set a definitive launch date.  Probably done to permit dealers to get their product out with the same time frames.

Ordered 11-27-2014, direct DJI. 001100035745 Payed in Full for Dual transmitters. I've seen all of this, but no emails, no sign of shipment. I've hitting my, "return home button" but still nothing.
