When I edit my video in Imovie, why does the Phantom 3 data show up over the picture?

Forum member "kudlaty" gave an excellent explanation in a previous thread: "These subtitles are not embedded into video, but overlayed from accompanying .SRT file by your video player (I assume you use VLC). You have three options - delete SRT files, disable video captions in Phantom or disable subtitles in your video player. I suggest the third option, because informations stored in SRT may be useful."
