Has anyone disabled 'synchronous follow'? I'm not home yet, will try later. Hopefully by disabling it, it helps the vibrations

glad i found this thread ...as my p3s is due to arrive tomorrow.....this is some serious stuff......maybe i should just send it back and go to a 3dr....ill definately be following you guys.....good topic here,  THANKS

This is exactly what my P3P does after 1.5 update.
strong vibrations , and sounds strange when hoovering and flying.
Thats why i know it is the Firmware , I seen this in other electronics ,
it effects some devices , but not all of them. That is why a lot of us are having problems.
And some are not. The bottom line is We need a new Firmware , 1.5 is just not working
for most of us.

Upload **ALL the flight log(.DAT files) in the aircraft to dropbox:**
a. Connect your aircraft(USB port at the tail) to a PC using the included USB cable. Turn on the Remote Controller and the aircraft, then open the DJI GO app.
b. Click “Mode” icon to view the “Advanced Settings”.
c. Click “MC Enter Read Flight Data Mode”.
d. After a few seconds, the DJI Flight Log disk will be detected by the PC and you will be able to access the data.

Same problem with v1.5 here, DJI please fix this.

Same here. I upgraded to 1.5, got vibrations. Downgraded back to 1.4 and its back to normal.

Here's mine recorded in the garden this afternoon.  It only appears to affect 2 opposing motors here.  Also, I can't replicate it indoors so may be to do with GPS reception?.

Updated firmware to 1.5.0030, latest iOS on mini2, latest Go app and flew yesterday - All seemed nor ...

It will idle nicely on a table. The vibrations/oscillation will transfer to the table. Observe the camera when hovering near you. Also the camera footage will no show as the gimbal should be good enough to minimise the 'jello'.

I cant test on mine as I still have the old firmware.
But those with issues, can you please look at your vertical gains. Go MC settings > Gain Expo Tuning > Scroll down to Gains > and change your vertical to 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 and see which is the sweet spot. Default is 100%.

My theory, as mentioned before, is that DJI had been testing the firmware on the newer P3 with the efficient motors and updated ESC. If that's the case, then the ESC firmware may have a different rpm/resonance.

It's more random though.  Sometimes it's ok, other times not, either outside on the ground or in the air.  Today I couldn't get it to vibrate in the air in my garden, but yesterday it looked like it had severe hyperthermia.

Don't update to 1.5 and you will be fine.

Even downgrading from 1.5 to 1.4, you still get the vibrations... Just not as bad.

Try disabling synchronous follow in the gimble settings. I heard it might help. I disabled it, but haven't tested it yet. Been raining all day here in Toronto

I have done as you said but i cant find MC Enter Read Flight Data Mode?
PS I use android DJI GO app.

I disabled synchronous follow in the gimbal settings. Vibrations to the gimbal unit is still occurring when hovering. The Phantom does not vibrate what so ever when it's grounded. When it's in the air hovering, you can notice the camera and gimbal vibrate. I notice it happening off and on, not constantly.

Note: I have reinstalled 1.5 back on the Phantom to do this test. It flies better though, just the vibrations haven't been fixed.

I already done but i don´t see Enter flight data mode in that menu...

My P3S (new motors)continues to have the same issues as the others here. Ever since the update I've had the vibrations, whining sound, and drifting/sagging. Lots of posts scattered around different forums and it seems all 3 models of P3 are affected. So what's common in the latest update with all 3 series?

I have this issue on 2 P3P's I have until mid Jan to return it and I will if this issue is not resolved by then. I've done everything the DJI has recommended and now even with 1.5 installed my P3P is drifting

That may be the case in 2.4.3 I remember with 2.4.2 I thought I could see the icon. But now in on 2.4.3 and I cannot see the icon without the R/C on.

Thank you for quick response. At this time I have just a few second video of my P3P hovering recorded by it's camera in 1080p60 mode when I first time detected the vibration that is happened right after upgrade to v1.5.
Please look at man and building shake on the background view that is the effect of the drone vibration.


I did not recorded the side view of the drone itself but it looked exactly like here:  


I uploaded 2 last days data files that include last v1.4 fly with not vibration and full day data files on v1.5.
