Yeah, I've had all my gains set to 80% - but unfortunately I still get vibrations.

I think I have been lucky so far in terms of usable footage. But, my greatest fear is if I go to use some footage for a project and it will be unusable due to jello footage. It's also hard to see on an iPad screen both during flight and playback. It's not until I watch it back on a monitor when I notice it.

I really don't know what else I can do at this stage other than wait? I can't afford to send it in to try and get new motors - especially when all I have been reading lately is that the replacement of the new motors has done nothing.

This problem has become VERY disappointing , we cant downgrade back to V1.4 to solve , DJI offers no solution and we cant even re- sale our used equipment due to this issue . Come on DJI Solve it !!!
adjusting gains is NOT the solution , balancing props is NOT the solution , cold weather is NOT the cause .

Just try to change props, do not bother with balancing, just install new props and see if vibration is gone. I had small vibration on the ground when idle. Balancing props did nothing, then I just put new set of props - vibration is gone. Bought more: fiber and reg props with stripes - all good without any balancing. Although the balancer shows that balance is not perfect - it has zero effect on the bird, if not makes it idle smoother, figures.

Have tried ALL of these things , Lower gains is better but not a complete solution , new props etc. make no difference , V1.4 had no problem 1.5 and up is bad.

once you go to 1.6 you cant revert back , that's the problem. dji needs to solve this or at the very least tell us exactly what is causing this.
there is no reason for them not to know this by now. I don't believe that the answer is in the forum , but hope to see dji pay some attention to this issue.

I mean, obviously 1.4 isn't available if you have upgraded beyond 1.5. What people really want to know is why it isn't available for roll back?

Surely as consumers who has outlayed substantial capital we are at the least, entitled to know why our product no longer operates the way it did when purchased after modification via update by the manufacturer.

So please...
1. Talk to ever you have to within DJI, get the confirmation from your superiors, and let us know why our P3's no longer work the way they did?

And

2. Why we are not able to roll back to 1.4 after 1.5 upgrade?

Are you unable to roll-back after installing 1.5, or is it only after upgrading to 1.6?

I am getting vibration on my P3P with 1.5, and am thinking of going back to 1.4.

You are able to go back to 1.4, but when I did it, it made no difference.  Since the weather has warmed up a bit I don't really see the problem any more, just the occasional shake in certain windy conditions sometimes.  I've reset my gains to 100% & it's still OK.

Ah, OK. I seem to recall mine was OK on 1.4, but yesterday on my second test flight I noticed some instability. I might try roll back and see if it changes anything.

1.4 is not available for download anymore as they're may have had issues with it.

I wish i was the same, Iv already gone to 1.6 a while back. Was hoping the latest would fix the vibrations. Seems i will have to continue to dial down the gains.

Hmm, but what side effect does dialing down the gains have? They would be set at 100% for a good reason I would think.

Yes definitely not as much punch in movements, to be honest im only seeing real slight shakes in video with no real effect on stills. I would just like that tiny little bit of jello wobble gone. dialing down to 80-90 does the trick

It doesn't react so fast when correcting itself against the wind, but you can hardly notice it in reality, or at least I can't.

Not me, I want to know if anyone's noticed any improvements, otherwise it's all risk for no gain.

So I decided to update to 1.8 and I took it out today to the local waterfalls...struggling to see any vibrations...with all the gains set back to 100 as well.  Think I will need to do some more tests, but so far this is a good sign!

Hello - I have  the following on my Phantom 3 Pro
app - 2.7.2
aircraft - 1.8.80
RC - 1.6.0
Video has vibrations pretty bad at times.  I have found this forum tonight and have gone thru some steps such as adjusting gaing..calibarition of IMU, Calibration of Gimbal, so tomorrow I hope to have a non vibrating experience.  I am not upset though, even with the vibration, this is a fantastic product.  Below is a video I did today (watch your volume on speakers).  As you can see the vibration is on the left side.  I have other videos as well displaying this issue (subscribe lol and check them out).

Yeah, this is very similar to what my vibrations were like...but weren't as frequent as yours.

Not sure why, but when I went from the firmware version 1.7 to the latest (1.8.8)...I don't have any vibrations or jello in my footage. I didn't  even do a calibration of the IMU or gimbal.

I don't think I'll ever update my firmware again unless it's a huge major update...

I am still getting jello effect after changing the gains to prior DJI recommendations as seen in the footage.  
I will say it is not as bad as it was, but I would still rather have smooth video.  Maybe i should redo the firmware?  No idea at this point what I should try.

Phantom 3 pro new motor design FW1.7, Temp 10 decrees Celsius, winds 10-15km/h with major camera/gimbal wobble and some jello.  I will try on a warmer day and change gains to 80, if problem persists I will swap my props out.

Just adding my voice here... my P3 Pro have these vibrations too. I noticed it around Christmas after the firmware update. Calibrated IMU plenty of times, also played with the gains a bit, but it doesn't sort it out. I've been reading these threads and expecting DJI to fix it by next firmware, but I finally took the step and contacted the dealer in the hopes that I can get it fixed.

Send it for repair. in my P3P they changed the gimbal and now everything is ok

Send it for repair every time there is someting like that. I did that and they replace whole gimbal in my P3P
