Planning to fly out of the country.  Has anyone had problems getting the quadcopters thru customs on either end?

Really want to know this as well. I plan to take it from USA to Bahamas (doubt I'll have a problem there). Coming back in may be an issue. I also plan or hope to bring it to Italy next year. Anyone experienced with international flights? Is it better to bring the quad as a carry on in an SKB box, for example? Or check it and risk damage by the baggage handlers? And does it make a difference to TSA or airport security?

You can take it, if you taking in the plane dont leave any battery connected to the copter. the other thing that if you dont want to have any problem with the airline you can get like a journalist freelance id so if the ask that your media, you can say that your are freelance

You have to carry the batteries onboard do not check them.
