i have two batteries that are playing up and am wondering what we do with the batteries once they come to the end of their lifecan they be recycled?

Most of the community agree that once a Lipo is fully discharges to 0 volts it can be discarded in the trash bin with 0 effect to the environment. There are several discussion on how to discharge to 0  via saltwater bath etc. you can do a google search on lipo battery disposal and read the how too,s and make up you own mind. Other drop them off a battery disposal centers.
