The sad reality is that this is created out of unfounded paranoia rather than anything real.

we had a great drone meeting today in burbank with the Society of Aerial Cinematographers and the idea of drone hysteria came up a lot.  it needs to be handled.  io hear you guys down under have a drone test.  very smart.

A drone test?  What's a drone test?  I haven't heard of it.

I suspect, it resembles a written drivers test, only made specifically for eager and enthusiastic drone Pilots.
There should also be a required hands on, practical, similar to our restricted firearms testing, in a near facility or grounds, someplace close to thee exam station.
