Can anyone verify the firmware version that the flight batteries currently use?

is it not the same as the FW that's in the bird ? or are you talking about a new battery ?

I assumed its not the same as the P3.Last i heard,when the P3 was 1.4 the battery was still on 1.3.2. The battery gets its firmware from the current P3 firmware but its not always the same. Atleast it didnt used/have to be the same.

I thought the whole point of leaving the FW on the sd card and inserting each battery was to update the battery to the same FW ?

Well , i have a friend that is running different firmware than i am and i was wondering how the batteries would deal with the different firmwares if we were to share batteries.If the batteries are still running older firmware , i wont have anything to worry about.

No . But if the aircraft firmware version is too old , the aircraft might not be able to recognize the battery .

As long as its recognized, its ok to fly?

Just to clarify here, there is no mention on the DJI tutorials about having to update each battery - do you have to run the full update with each battery in the unit? That seems like a very long-winded process and should be identified in the DJI tutorials if its necessary!

Thank you for your suggestion, we will involve it in future. To update the battery all you need to do is to plug it in and wait for a minute, it's not going to take too long. Thank you for your suggestion

Thanks Tim, to clarify do you need to insert the battery whilst the SD card has the update software on it or just insert it at any time? How do you know if the update is complete?

i have firmware 1.4 on my P3 pro after downgrade from 1.5
My batteries have 1.5.
Do i have to downgrade batteries ?
Is it possible to downgrade a battery?
