Two different android devices say that the compass needs calibrated yet my ipad doesnt.  Why would that be?

I have both android and iOS and only on the iphone 6 plus have I ever seen the "You must calibrate your compass" on the phone.

Im wondering why one device would say it needs calibrated and the other one doesnt. I dont get it.

Me, either.  Never bothered me enough to worry about it as nothing seems affected.

It doesnt bother me at all. 100% of the time i fly with my ipad.I was just pissing around and noticed that. Curious, thats all.
