I am not seeing the lens hood that had been discussed as a reason for the delay in production. Or is this a snap-on accessory that is included?

It is a matte hood and is behind the ND filter.

doering - That is the redesigned camera. Look close than compare to one of the original images of the Inspire. You will see the difference. The images on the DJI website have all been updated with the new lens cover.

The camera pod was elongated from a "ball" shape to an "egg" shape in order to encapsulate and aerodynamically fair the hood.
