Does anybody actually know HOW to downgrade the firmware to the previous version? The release notes for 1.5.003 says:
"The firmware can be downgraded to v1.4.10 or later only. "
I fear I have a corrupt firmware installation but can't figure out how to re-install 1.5.003. The bird says 1.5.003 was completed successfully so when it looks at the firmware the upgrade doesn't happen b/c it's the same version as on my disk.

P.S. I saw the earlier post about holding in the button on the VPS at bootup - can anybody comment on that and what it does?
What does the app say the R/C and aircraft versions are. Go to the General Settings tab and scroll down to About and list what the versions say.
Also, the button you are talking about is for re-linking the aircraft to the radio.
Okay. Here is how you do it. Make sure you have the FW 1.4 on your Micro SD card. Ensure that there are no other files except for FW 1.4.
1. Upload the FW1.4 to the SD that you plan to use.
2. Insert the SD in card into you Phantom.
3. Turn on your phantom. Ensure your controller remains off during the update.
4. Follow the direction on updating the FW for the Phantom.
Please let me know if you have questions. Had to do this for the vibration issue on FW 1.5.

You are all updated, I would stay there.
it won't upgrade because you are already on the latest upda ...
As I said before ... I believe the upgrade had some form of a bug in it. The release notes you guys put out says that the firmware can be downgraded - is that true or not?
If it's true - is the process that chazdazzle describes the right way to downgrade?
