Before we talked about AEB HDR shooting: http://forum.dji.com/thread-36401-1-1.html

So today, we will talk about making an HDR Panorama. Of course the basics are the same, but there are few important things to take care of when creating an HDR panorama. I had no chance to choose a better place for the shooting, so just did it here not far from my place.
First of all, I set my Phantom camera to the AEB mode and choose 3 images per shot.
I took pictures in 3 directions: left, middle, and right with an overlay of about 20%, so after in Photoshop it successfully merged into one panorama.
So simply speaking, I used 9 photos to create 1 HDR panorama
pano plus.jpg

So the next step is to bracket and align our left side images in the Photomatix Pro. Now you have to find a proper preset or create your own according to the particular image. I adjusted some tone settings and created my own preset
QQ图片20151222182437.jpg

Next, you have to use this preset with the middle and right-hand images.
QQ图片20151222182626.jpg
Because if you use other presets or make other tone corrections, there will be a visible difference between 3 pictures on the final panorama.

When you're done with that, please save the photos and run Photoshop:
In Photoshop CS6 go to File>Automate>Photomerge
Import your images and press ok, Photoshop will create a panorama automatically .
QQ图片20151216200659.jpg .

Here we've got some white areas on the sides, so we just crop them off.
QQ图片20151222184818.jpg

Now our panorama is almost done...
Untitled_Panorama1.jpg

I'd like to reduce the noise, add a bit of vignette and make picture look a little bit colder in the Lightroom.
Here is the result:

Hope this was helpful
You're welcome to share your panoramas here!

My workflow always consist of AEB to HDR for aerial photos. Only way to get all the dynamic range in. Pano makes it so much better. Check out some of my work..

Nice write up and that is similar to what I do, except I export the dng files using lightroom and assemble them in Ptgui.

I wish the AEB range was greater than it is, the really limits dynamic range.

Here is a hdr pano stitched in Ptgui:

Thanks for the sharing. I am try to create 720 panorama with my P3, like this : http://720yun.com/t/e6127wOdyta

However, with only a single explorsure shots some details around highlight and shadow area are lost. So I would like to create these 720 panorama with HDR shots and now there is my problem: HDR proccess first or stiching first? If I do the HDR first, there may be a possibility having uneven tuning since i can't have the overview of the whole picture.

the weather in your area is awesome for HDR! Cause here where i am all i get most of the days is a flat layer of clouds and its impossible to make something beautiful out of that.

Great Pictures everyone , I use the lightroom workflow described by DJI-Tim - I would love to see a Panorama function built into the DJI Go App - there is a few independent Apps for the inspire that do this, also Lietchi App does do Panoramas but i feel its a bit restrictive in Panorama types, so i usually do my own Yaw AEB shots.

I have mentioned this several times in the driving force form..

You could set up # of pics you want to take and many other options like
* 2 - 3 layer pano.. takes x # of photos then rotates the camera down , takes x # of photos etc
* 360 pano option, with layers (camera up or down for various layers to take)

etc.

Well this shot it great. Basically it's the same process of stitching panorama but vertically.
Also there is a distortion in the bottom part of the picture , and i don't really  know how to get rid of it.

Thanks for the sharing. I am try to create 720 panorama with my P3, like this : http://720yun.com/t/ ...

Normally the pano software will made the HDR process (like auto pano and ptgui). The advantage is, that the software will made the right setting for all you brackets. After stitching both software can create a special HDR-file for make the HDR-settings in e.g. Photomatix.
