My DJI Vision app for the DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus has recent began to crash while in flight. It has never crashed in the year that I have flown it. I have used the same phone for the last year as well with no problems.

During flight It will randomly crash. I immediately reopen the app and it connects back to the drone while in flight.

I have reinstalled the app.  - still crashes
I restarted the phone - still crashes.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to fly the aircraft with other devices ?

Check your phone to be sure .        Check bluetooth be sure it is off
•        Ensure your phone has been updated to the latest software.
•        Ensure you have closed all other multi-tasking applications.
•        Check the free space on your mobile device, it is recommend having at least 3GB available, less storage could be causing an issue.
And verify what fps you are trying to view video at. May need to drop down a little and work up.

I don't have any other devices to try it on. I only have a Nexus 5 Smart phone.

Software is up to date.
All applications are shut off.

I don't have at least 3 gb available. I will try this next. I cleaned my phone off. I now have 3.9 gigs available I will fly this morning see if it happens.

Also my viewer quality is set to lowest, so I don't think the fps is the problem.
I'm going to format my phone this weekend. Clear any additional junk that is on there to clear up some space.
