Before previous updates to the app and controller I used to be able to rotate (10) aka the Camera Setting Dial and it would open up or close down (slower/faster shutter speed). Now in full manual mode it adjusts the ISO setting. This is absoultely not what I want, or can imagine anyone wanting. Is there a way to change it back to how it used to be? I went through all the menus without any luck.

Press down on the wheel and it will change between adjusting  ISO and Shutter speed. Learned that one by accident the other day.  I still wish by default it was set to shutter speed for the reasons you mentioned though.

You can switch between the ISO and sutter speed by pressing the wheel down
