We have winter temperatures below -20C frequency,  phantom cope with such conditions.
But the problem with the iPhone or IPad that the cold instantly discharged, often on a fully charged phone during the flight.

QUESTION! Why IOS DJI App prohibits charging iPhone from the remote control? This would solve the problem.

Please! Make option settings to charge the iPhone from remote.

The bottom-line is that these current generation iOS devices have charging current requirements that are NOT met by the RC lipo battery and usb port (not enough current)...
